dreams & nightmares of liberation
is an textile art exhibition exploring dreams and nightmares related to first-generation familial sadness, hope, and liberation. This work was exhibited in June 2024 at Orpheum Community Hub Center in downtown Albuquerque, NM as well as in the 2023-2024 Border Bienneal hosted in the El Paso Museum of Art, in El Paso, TX and in a group exhition called Indigenous Borderlands: Interweaving Nepantla, Remembering Sacred Relations, Centro de la Raza, San Diego, CA.
